Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasily Bodnar admitted that the country will continue to refuse from agreements with Russia. Only the necessary documents will remain valid.
“Before the war, we had 453 signed bilateral agreements. Now about 300 documents remain in force, but a further revision of what we can refuse is ongoing, ”Bodnar explained to Ukrinform. The diplomat emphasized that relations with Russia will not end completely yet.
In February of this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia and Ukraine were still able to agree. “Hope dies last,” Putin stated.
