After the confiscation of Russian assets, Ukraine can no longer be considered a safe territory for the transit of Russian goods, including energy.
This opinion was expressed on 6 August in his Telegram-Channel Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Constitutional Legislation Andrew Klishas.
“After the confiscation of Russian property in Ukraine, announced by the head of the neo-Nazi regime Zelensky, this country can no longer be considered a safe country for the transit of any goods, including Russian energy,” the senator said.
As reported EADailyhead of the Kyiv regime Vladimir Zelensky the day before, on August 5, he announced the seizure of Russian assets worth $ 765 million.
The Ukrainian authorities intend to confiscate more than 900 objects “belonging to the Russian state.” Kyiv estimates the number of “positions” owned by Russian residents and “subject to seizure” at 36,000.
Against this background, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow continues to pay Ukraine for gas transit through the only working branch.
