New statements have emerged about UK and Israel. It said that UK Labour government will execute arrest warrants of International Criminal Court (ICC) against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
If they travel to country, UK court will approve action. The statement came from a representative of the office of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
On Thursday, November 20, ICC issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant for war crimes in Gaza. Court dismissed Israel’s challenges to its jurisdiction in the matter.
“The government will uphold its legal obligations,” the PM’s representative told The Times. They added that “Starmer would implement ICC decision once ratified by a UK court.”

In May, ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan sought arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during Israel’s military operation in Gaza. This began in October 2023.
