In Tyumen, kindergartens and schools were recommended to strengthen control over compliance with safety measures. The city department of education reported this to URA.RU. This recommendation was sent after the shooting at a school in Bryansk, which occurred on December 7.
“In order to ensure anti-terrorism protection, a set of preventive measures is systematically carried out in educational institutions of the city of Tyumen. Currently, schools and kindergartens in the regional capital are recommended to show additional attention and strengthen control over compliance with the requirements for ensuring anti-terrorist protection of facilities,” the department said.
The shooting at a school in Bryansk occurred on December 7. An eighth-grader brought a gun to school and opened fire in biology class. As a result of the incident, two, including the attacker, were killed and four more were injured. It is known that metal detectors and cameras were not working at the school. The guards did not find the gun that the schoolgirl carried to class hidden in a tube.
