In the Tyumen region there is currently no need for mass vaccination against coronavirus infection. The implementation of vaccination will depend on the epidemiological situation, the press service of the regional health department explained to URA.RU.
“Currently, mass vaccination of the population against COVID -19 is not carried out. Vaccine prevention of COVID -19 within the framework of the calendar of preventive vaccinations for epidemic indications will depend on the epidemiological situation of the 2023-24 season,” the department told URA.RU.
The Department of Health also explained that the decision on the need for vaccination is made by Rospotrebnadzor based on daily monitoring of the incidence level in the region. There is currently no recommendation for universal vaccination.
Earlier, URA.RU reported on a sharp increase in the incidence of coronavirus in the Tyumen region. Over the week, the number of infected people increased almost 2.5 times.
