The Tyumen District Court passed a sentence on a local resident, Ramil Bashirov, who punched a policeman. This was reported to URA.RU in the joint press service of the judicial system of the Tyumen region. The man was found guilty of using violence that is not dangerous to life and health against a representative of the authorities (part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
“On November 24, 2022, the district commissioner arrived at an apartment in the village of Kaskara to check the report about the beating of a woman. At the scene of the incident, he found Bashirov, who was in a state of alcoholic intoxication, who, using profanity, insulted a representative of the authorities, and also grabbed him by his uniform and struck a blow to the body of the district police officer with his fist, ”the press service said.
The court added that Bashirov admitted his guilt and repented. The man had no previous convictions, has dependent young children, and is a combat veteran.
“Taking into account all mitigating circumstances and the absence of aggravating circumstances, the court concluded that it was possible to impose a non-custodial sentence,” the department added. The accused was fined 10,000 rubles.
