Deputies of the Tyumen Regional Duma did not support the introduction of new fines for pet owners. This was announced on his Vkontakte page by one of the authors of the bill, a member of the LDPR faction, Ivan Vershinin. One of the reasons for the refusal was that the regional authorities are already preparing a similar document.
“The deputies did not support our bill aimed at strengthening the responsibility for negligent dog owners. At the same time, colleagues from the government noted in their response that a similar bill is currently being prepared by the authorized executive body of the Tyumen region, ”Vershinin wrote. The decision was made on May 23 at a meeting of the Duma Committee on State Construction and Local Self-Government.
Earlier URA.RU wrote that the deputies proposed 10 new fines for pet owners. In particular, they were asked to be fined five thousand rubles if they allowed their pet to attack a person or other animal.
