Tyumen authorities told where 26 new schools and eight kindergartens will be built in the region from 2024 to 2026. Information about this is given in the draft regional budget.

“Over the next three years, eight kindergartens and 26 schools will be built in the Tyumen region, eight of which will be built in the regional capital. New kindergartens will appear in the Melioratorov microdistrict, the residential complexes “Korney”, “European Quarter”, “Legend Park”, “Three Bogatyrs”, “Star City”, in the Plekhanovo and Alebashevo districts. Schools are planned to be built on the streets of Krasnye Zori, Belinskoye, Krasnodonskaya, Rizhskaya – Respubliki, in the Melioratorov, Bereznyakovsky and Yamalsky-1 microdistricts,” the document states.

In addition, the funds will be used to develop projects for four more schools, three of which will be located in the Antipino, Novo-Patrushevo, and Tyumenskaya Sloboda microdistricts. The government also plans to develop a project for the construction of a kindergarten in the residential area of ​​Tura-2.

Based on the draft budget, a total of 6.5 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of education and science in 2024, 10.6 billion in 2025 and 8.5 billion in 2026. 45.8 billion rubles will be spent on education in the Tyumen region over three years.

Earlier, the press service of the city administration said that the city would hold public hearings on the city budget for 2024 and for the planning period of 2025 and 2026. The local government website states that costs for the Education project will be reduced by more than three times. By the end of this year, the project will receive 1.75 billion rubles from the regional budget, but in 2024 funding will be reduced to 0.54 billion rubles.
