Two ships collided on the Lena in the Irkutsk region – Kommersant

On the Lena River in the Irkutsk region, two cargo ships collided, one of them ran aground, according to the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office. According to her, there were no victims, there was no fuel spill.

IN press release The department says that the incident occurred with the participation of the motor ship RT-482 with the barge MP-2552 loaded with coal, and the motor ship Kapitan Kablukov with the barge MP-2591 loaded with plates. They collided at 3617.5 km of the Lena River in Ust-Kut.

Osetrovsky transport prosecutor Alexander Boneev was sent to the place. The prosecutor’s office checks the implementation of legislation on traffic safety and operation of water transport.
