Tutberidze’s daughter fell on the ice and took second place in the tournament

The daughter of Russian coach Eteri Tutberidze, figure skater Diana Davis, despite the fall, took second place in ice dancing in Bratislava together with her partner Gleb Smolkin. Their total score was 188.94 points over two performances.

“Skaters Davis and Smolkin, performing under the Georgian flag, took second place in ice dancing at the Challenger series tournament,” RBC reports. They added that the pair lost almost 11.5 points to the British Laila Fir – Lewis Gibson.

Davis fell while performing one of the elements in her free dance. In total, the athletes scored 188.94 points for rhythm dance and free dance. The British pair of Fir and Gibson scored 200.46 points. The third place was taken by representatives of the Czech Republic Natalie Tashlerova and Filip Tashler with a score of 187.34.
