Turkish authorities decided to demolish the city of Nurdagi destroyed by the earthquake

The city of Nurdagi in the Turkish province of Gaziantep, which suffered from a devastating earthquake, will be demolished. This decision was taken by the authorities of the republic.

They decided not to carry out restoration work in the city and completely demolish it. Before the disaster, about 17 thousand people lived there.

Powerful tremors were recorded in Turkey on February 6. More than 29 thousand people became victims of seismic activity. Emergency services continue to clear the rubble.
