An increase in the pace of deliveries of Caspian gas to European markets is expected against the background of the energy crisis. This forecast was made on October 3, the journalist said. Erdal Tanas Karagel in an article for the Turkish newspaper Yeni Şafak.
According to Karagel, the TANAP and TAP pipelines, which form the Southern Gas Corridor, will ensure Turkey’s energy security against the backdrop of a general crisis, and this will help strengthen international relations.
The journalist explains that alternative fuel supply lines today are of great importance for the EU countries. Moreover, according to Karagel, Ankara, having assumed the role of an intermediary, can further claim the role of the energy center of Europe.
