Trump raised the question of what prevented the Democrats from implementing their plans over the past 3.5 years.
During his final statement at the TV debate with Kamala Harris, Donald Trump, the Republican Party’s presidential candidate, stated that the country is “in decline,” wondering what had stopped the Democrats from realizing their plans over the past 3.5 years.
“I want to ask a simple question: why haven’t they done anything? We’re a nation in decline, a serious decline. We’re lagging behind everywhere in the world. World leaders don’t understand what’s happening to us. We have no leadership and no understanding of what’s going on,” Trump said.
The politician expressed concerns that a series of conflicts in various parts of the world, which have escalated during the Democrats’ time in power in the US, could lead to a third world war, “unlike anything that has ever happened before.” In Trump’s view, Americans “shouldn’t sacrifice their country due to someone’s poor political leadership.”
