The US Secret Service reported that they had neutralized the suspect, who had fired several shots towards the stage from the rooftop of a nearby industrial building about 100 meters away from the event venue.

The second attempt on Trump’s life took place on September 15 near a golf club in . According to law enforcement, Secret Service agents opened on the perpetrator, who was hiding in the bushes.

The man fled and attempted to escape by car but was apprehended. A search of the area where he was spotted revealed an AK-47 rifle with a scope, two backpacks, and a GoPro action camera. The FBI has joined the investigation.
