Trump asked Biden not to fall asleep at a meeting with Putin

45th US President Donald Trump asked his successor Joe Biden not to fall asleep at the upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Also, Mr Trump asked to convey his best wishes to the Russian President.

“Good luck to Biden in his talks with President Putin. Stay awake at the meeting and please convey my best wishes to him, ”the ex-president said in a statement (quoted by RIA Novosti). Note that Donald Trump often calls Mr. Biden “sleepy Joe.”

The meeting of the presidents of the two countries, Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden, will take place in Geneva on June 16. Prior to that, in Great Britain, the American president will take part in the G7 summit, after which he will travel to Belgium for the NATO and US-EU summits. This is his first foreign tour as head of state.
