Just hours after Donald Trump’s bold remark on Ukraine, Russian drone strikes hit Donetsk and Kharkiv killing at least 25 and injuring nearly 30 – Guardian report.

On Friday morning Donald Trump issued a warning to Russia stating that no leniency would shown until a peace deal with Ukraine reached.
However, only hours later he praised Russian President Vladimir Putin. Speaking to reporters in Oval Office Trump claimed he trusts Putin and believes negotiations with Asia are easier.
Referring to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Trump argued that any leader in Putin’s position would have done same. He further claimed that Putin wants to end the war and establish peace.

Zelenskyy confirmed ongoing talks with U.S. to speed up the peace process stating that multiple discussions had taken place with Trump administration.
