Tripura Assembly Election 2023 BJP Candidate 259 Candidates 45 Are Millionaire Deputy CM Richest 41 Have Criminal Cases

Tripura Election 2023: Tripura assembly elections are to be held on February 16, for which all political parties have thrown their might into the election campaign. 259 candidates in the fray for the election (candidates) have landed. According to a report, out of these 259 candidates, 45 are crorepatis.

Association for Democratic Reforms (Association for Democratic ReformsMentioning this in a report, ADR said that 17 of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates are crorepatis. At the same time, Tipra Motha party has a total of 9 crorepati candidates. Apart from this, CPI has 7 candidates who are crorepatis. As per reports, 6 Congress candidates fall in the crorepati category. At the same time, Trinamool Congress has two more independent candidates who are also crorepatis.

Chief Minister Manik Saha’s assets worth crores

Bharatiya Janata Party’s Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma has movable and immovable assets worth a total of 15.58 crores. Whereas, Chief Minister Manik Saha (Manik Saha) has total assets of Rs 13.90 crores which comes in second place. At the same time, Abhijeet Sarkar of Tipra Motha party has total assets of 12.57 which makes him the third richest candidate.

Criminal cases are registered against them

According to the ADR report, 41 of the candidates have criminal cases registered against them. Cases are registered against 7 out of 13 Congress candidates. Out of 55 BJP candidates, 9 have criminal cases registered against them. At the same time, cases are registered against 9 out of 43 candidates of the Left Front.

Mega roadshow of Union Home Minister Amit Shah

Union Minister Amit Shah, engaged in the election campaign in the state, did a mega road show in the capital Agartala on Sunday (February 12). Along with CM Manik Saha, former CM Biplav Dev also participated in this road. Addressing two rallies before the roadshow, Amit Shah targeted the Congress and the CPIM fiercely. He said, Congress and CPIM have come together and are going to lose the election. He has accepted that he alone cannot compete with BJP. At the same time, earlier on Saturday (February 11), the Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the election rally.
