Tours to Egypt have fallen in price by almost 30% due to the war in Israel

Prices for tours to Egypt fell by an average of 25-31%. Demand for travel packages also fell by 4%, this is due to the military conflict in neighboring Israel. This was reported by the press service of the Sletat.ru group of companies.

“Sales for travel to Egypt decreased by approximately 4% compared to the previous two weeks, and the cost of most offers fell by an average of 25-31%,” RIA writes, citing a company study. They noted that the conflict in Israel played a big role in the fall in the cost of tours and the demand for them.

The fall in both demand and prices for travel to Egypt began on October 11 and lasted until October 17. Currently, the indicators have stabilized.

Previously, Russians were advised to refrain from traveling to Israel until the situation in the country normalizes. For those tourists who have already purchased tickets, the Ministry of Economic Development provided special recommendations for refunds.
