Tolstoy told what the supply of long-range weapons to Ukraine will lead to

The more long-range weapons delivered to Ukraine, the further the Russian army will have to go in order to achieve victory. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Pyotr Tolstoy during a meeting of members of the organizing committee of the Second International Parliamentary Conference “Russia – Africa”.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and other federal executive bodies, experts, as well as delegates and journalists from African states. The meeting participants discussed the results of the briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the heads of the diplomatic missions of the parties, which took place a week ago.

During his speech, Tolstoy stressed that Russia, during the special operation, would achieve all the goals that it had. “The main task is complete demilitarization and denazification, which means that never again will any military or political threat or attempt to confront Russia from the territory of the former Ukraine ever be carried out,” he explained.

The parliamentarian added that it was not the Russian side that started this conflict, but, as President Vladimir Putin noted, it was started by people who carried out a coup in Ukraine in 2014 and persecuted Russians in Donbass for eight years.

“As for the participation of the West, you know, Russia is the largest country in Europe, we are Europe. And that part of Western Europe, which imagined itself to be the legislator of the world order, is now supplying weapons to Ukraine,” Tolstoy said.

According to him, “the more long-range weapons are delivered to the territory of Ukraine, the further the Russian army will have to go in order to achieve victory.”
