Tinkoff will appeal against the court decision on the return of 1.3 million rubles to a resident of Perm. The company believes that the court of first instance did not understand the nature of the transactions and that it was the Permian who caused damage to the bank. It is reported by RBC Perm with reference to the press service of Tinkoff.
“The client took advantage of a technical failure when setting exchange rates, abused his position and, as a result of dishonest actions, caused damage to the bank. In 52 minutes, the client made 48 consecutive conversion operations from dollars to euros, then to pounds sterling and back to dollars, making a profit from each iteration, ”RBC Perm quotes the Tinkoff press service.
The company believes that the client carried out the above operations solely for the purpose of making a profit and unjustly enriching himself. “We will continue to defend our innocence in court,” the company’s press service concluded.
URA.RU previously reported that the Dzerzhinsky Court of Perm satisfied the claim of a client of Tinkoff Bank for the return of 1.3 million rubles. This money was written off by the company from the account of Perm. The decision has not yet entered into force.
