Tim Tszyu Wins Interim WBO World Title

Australian Timofey Tszyu, son of the former absolute world boxing champion Konstantin Tszyu, defeated American Tony Harrison. The fight took place in Sydney. The Australian won by technical knockout in the ninth round and received the interim world title in the first middleweight according to the World Boxing Organization (WBO).

Tim Tszyu is 28 years old, he has 22 wins, including 16 by knockout, and not a single defeat. Tony Harrison, 32, is a former World Boxing Council (WBC) champion and current WBC Silver champion. He has 29 wins, 21 of them by knockout, as well as four losses and one draw.
