Thomas Tuchel Officially Takes Over as Bayern Head Coach

Thomas Tuchel became the new head coach of the German football club Bayern. Before that, the specialist headed the London Chelsea.

Tuchel signed a contract with the Munich club until June 30, 2025. The decision was made by FC Bayern chairman Oliver Kahn and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, and agreed with President Herbert Hainer.

The 49-year-old German coach will play the first match at the head of Bayern on April 1 at home against Borussia Dortmund. It is these two teams that are fighting for victory in the German championship.

Recall that Tuchel replaced Julian Nagelsmann as head coach of Bayern. He had previously been fired from his post as coach of the Munich team. The reason for this was the unsatisfactory results of the team after the 2022 World Cup, when the Munich lost a 10-point advantage and dropped to second place in the standings.
