Third plane with Russians arrived in Moscow region from Kabul

MOSCOW, Dec 2 – The third plane from Kabul with citizens of Russia and Afghanistan has landed at the Chkalovsky airfield near Moscow, the Russian Defense Ministry reports.
“Three military transport aircraft Il-76 of the Russian Ministry of Defense, involved in the evacuation of citizens from the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, landed at the Chkalovsky airfield in the Moscow region,” the message says.
In just three flights, more than 200 Russians from Afghanistan were delivered. It is noted that at present passengers are undergoing customs and anti-skid control.
Earlier, three Russian military transport aircraft flew to Kabul to deliver humanitarian aid and evacuate citizens of the Russian Federation, Kyrgyzstan and Afghan students studying at Russian universities. A total of 214 people were taken out. The evacuation was carried out on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
