There were footage of smoke at the metro station “Sportivnaya” in Moscow

The fire occurred at the Moscow metro station “Sportivnaya”. As a result of smoke, passengers are taken out of the subway, the capital’s emergency services said.

The Telegram channel of the Department of Transport of Moscow reported that Sportivnaya was temporarily closed. Compositions traveling from the city center pass the station without stopping.

According to authorities, the fire was caused by problems with the electric motor. The personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and operational services work at the “Sportivnaya”. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.
