Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that he could not add anything about the health of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov.
“No, nothing to add. The presidential administration has no function to monitor people’s health and report it. I can’t say anything,” Mr. Peskov said during a press call.
The day before, the press secretary was already asked about the condition of Ramzan Kadyrov. He replied that the Kremlin “does not have information on this matter.” On September 17, reports about the possible illness of the head of Chechnya began to spread in Telegram channels and the media – some of them wrote that Mr. Kadyrov was in a coma due to acute renal failure. The main intelligence department of Ukraine also announced the deterioration of Ramzan Kadyrov’s health.
After this, a video from the jogging was published on Ramzan Kadyrov’s Telegram channel. “I strongly advise everyone who cannot distinguish truth from lies on the Internet to take a walk in the fresh air and put their thoughts in order. The rain is wonderfully invigorating,” Mr. Kadyrov said in it.
At the beginning of July, messages about the hospitalization of Ramzan Kadyrov were also distributed in Telegram channels. Then he denied the rumors by going live on Instagram (owned by Meta, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
