There is a shortage of chicken eggs in UK supermarkets

Bloomberg: UK residents are faced with a shortage of chicken eggs in stores

In the UK, chicken eggs have disappeared from sale in some supermarkets. An outbreak of bird flu in Europe and the USA led to a shortage of chicken eggs. This was reported today, November 25, by Bloomberg.

According to the agency, eggs have also disappeared from supermarket shelves due to a sharp rise in prices for grain, fertilizer and energy. A third of farmers have started to reduce the number of chickens, or stopped producing eggs due to a sharp increase in feed prices.

It is noted that the UK is experiencing inflation in food products, due to which the British, in order to save money, switch from meat to cheaper sources of protein.

IA REGNUM previously reported, an original way to save on fuel was offered to motorists in the UK.
