Daily use of non-natural dish detergents can lead to intoxication, that is, poisoning of the body and the development of anaphylaxis (acute allergic reaction). General practitioner, therapist Larisa Alekseeva told about this in an interview with URA.RU.

“From constant contact with surface-active inorganic substances, a slight intoxication may appear, affecting the nervous system, mood, since absorption goes even through the skin, allergic reactions may occur. This will happen if the detergent contains non-natural dyes, oils, strong fragrances. Anaphylaxis can even occur, when breathing becomes difficult, the pulse quickens, redness sets in, Quincke’s edema develops, ”explained Larisa Alekseeva.

The therapist advised me to choose dish detergents with natural ingredients. “Everything should be natural so that there are no unwanted reactions, since we use dish detergents every day. I prefer children’s, as they are tested by Roskachestvo and dermatologists. You can also take products that say “for washing dishes, vegetables and fruits”, with the prefix “eco”, which are environmentally friendly, as they do not contain phosphates. It is good if such products contain components of plant origin – aloe vera, lemon, lemongrass, lemon balm, which can additionally have an antibacterial effect. Well, in order to wash off the funds, the dishes must be rinsed at least seven times, until they squeak. This will mean that there are no surfactants left on the dishes, ”added Alekseeva.

On this day, May 14, 1850, a patent was registered for the production of the first dishwasher. It was invented by Joel Goughton. The car was manually controlled and was not very reliable.
