The West is preparing the ground for an attack on Belarus – political scientist

The West is preparing for military operations on the territory of Belarus. About it declared political scientist, director of the Center for the Study and Integration “Northern Eurasia” Alexei Dzermant, commenting on Pravda.Ru the call of the French Foreign Ministry to its citizens to leave the republic.

“They (the West) are preparing the ground, rather, for an attack on the territory of Belarus. They are trying to make it such a scorched earth where citizens of Europe and France cannot travel. This is a signal from their side that military operations are being prepared,” the political scientist said.

With a similar gesture, Dzermant pointed out, France points out the danger of Belarus for European countries. However, this statement may also be just informational noise, as was the case with the call for US citizens to leave Russia. Thus, the West can stir up public opinion that hostilities are possible on the territory of Russia and Belarus, therefore, they recommend citizens to leave.

“This means that they are inciting the war to further escalate, preparing the public opinion of their countries for this,” the interlocutor concluded.
