The United States administration has found no evidence that China is sending weapons to Russia to use during a special military operation in Ukraine. This was stated on Friday by US President Joe Biden, answering questions from journalists.
He was asked if Beijing supplies Moscow with weapons for the NVO.
“So far there is no evidence of this,” the President replied.
He spoke about a telephone conversation with the President of China Xi Jinpingheld at the end of July last year. Then the American leader warned him that Western companies could leave China if Beijing supported Moscow within the NWO.
“I had a long conversation with Xi [Цзиньпином] about it in the summer. I said, ‘Look, that’s not a threat, that’s just a statement. When the Europeans actually saw what was happening, the Americans saw what was happening in Russia, in Europe, guess what happened? Six hundred corporations up and gone [из России]“. I added: “You told me that the future of China depends on investment from the Western world. It is important”. I said I’ll just keep an eye on it.” the President of the United States noted.
Biden also said he does not expect China to provide significant military assistance to Russia for a special military operation in Ukraine.
“I don’t expect [этого]. We haven’t seen it yet, but I don’t expect any major initiative from China to supply arms to Russia.” the American leader said.
Then the President of the United States was asked whether Washington would consider that Beijing had “crossed the line” if it began to supply weapons to the Russian Federation.
“It would be the same trait as for everyone else. In other words, we apply harsh sanctions to anyone who does. We would answer Biden said.
