The United States has announced a new aid package for Ukraine, marking the largest such allocation in recent months. The total amount of the package is nearly $2 billion.
The economic breakdown of this aid is particularly noteworthy. The package is divided into two parts. One portion, worth $200 million, includes weapons and ammunition from American stockpiles, which Ukraine will receive relatively quickly.
The larger portion, amounting to $1.5 billion, is allocated to American military manufacturers. This means that the shells and artillery mounts covered by this sum do not yet exist, and it is unclear when they will be produced and delivered.
