
The Ural branches of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation have received more than 23 thousand requests since June 1, 2023. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Presidential Embassy in the Urals Federal District.
“The branches of the fund in the Ural Federal District have received more than 23 thousand requests during their work (since June 1, 2023),” said Boris Kirillov, deputy plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Yakushev. He added that their task is to help provide support to the defenders of the Fatherland.
Currently, the building of the Sverdlovsk branch of the foundation is undergoing renovation. Once the work is completed, by the end of the year, the premises will be significantly expanded.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree establishing a fund to support participants in a special military operation and the families of fallen soldiers. The State Fund “Defenders of the Fatherland” was created to create conditions that ensure a decent life and active work for participants in a special military operation.
