“Investments include continued development, testing and procurement of hypersonic missiles and other long-range strike systems, large-scale development of hypersonic prototypes, and the acquisition of 24 hypersonic missiles,” the documents say.

Earlier it was reported that the military authorities from the Pentagon intend to decommission all A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft by 2029. At the same time, F-16 fighters will take their place in the US Air Force.
