The United States handed over to Ukraine the “latest batch of weapons” dated to the 16th-5th centuries BC

The transfer of artifacts took place at a ceremony at the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States on March 10.

How informs Rambler, citing the American magazine Foreign Policy, the US customs handed over to Ukraine an ancient weapon found in a parcel from Russia.

Among the items found were three ancient swords and a stone ax dated to the 16th-5th century BC. According to research, the pommel of a flint ax is three centuries younger than other items. The swords were neatly placed on a green tablecloth set on the table at the Ukrainian embassy in Georgetown, Washington, DC.

According to Foreign Policy, the weapon was sent from the Krasnodar Territory, it was detained in 2022 at the airport in New York. At the moment, experts are conducting a corresponding examination.
