The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution calling on Israel to leave the Syrian Golan Heights. This is evidenced by the voting results.

“We are deeply concerned that Israel has not withdrawn from the Syrian Golan Heights, which have been occupied since 1967, contrary to the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council and the General Assembly,” RIA Novosti reports words from the resolution. The document was supported by 91 members of the General Assembly, eight were against it, and 62 abstained.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that to end the war in the Middle East, it is necessary to give Palestine the opportunity to create a sovereign state within the 1967 borders. According to the head of the Russian Federation, this is what will help resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
