The Ukrainian Armed Forces have revealed the tactics that will be used against the Russian Federation in bad weather

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) intend to use inclement weather in the fight against Russia. Rains will limit the use of aviation by the Russian Armed Forces and will also slow down the movement of equipment. This was stated by the head of the press service of the command of the Ukrainian Ground Forces, Vladimir Fityo.

“All weather will contribute to the conduct of hostilities. If it rains now, the use of both aircraft and attack drones will decrease. <...> It will be more difficult for the equipment to move,” Vladimir Fityo emphasized during the telethon. His words are reported by the Ukrainian TV channel TSN.

The head of the press service said that due to the colder weather, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will change tactics and will interrupt Russian supply routes. He stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces intend to “freeze out” the Russians.

Russian military expert Viktor Litovkin, in a conversation with URA.RU, stated that the autumn thaw will become a problem for Ukraine. This is due to the fact that due to bad weather they will not be able to use tanks effectively. The head of the press service of the Eastern Group of Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ilya Yevlasha, also expressed concern that the worsening weather in the Russian special operation zone will not allow the use of Western tanks.
