The Tyumen region entered the top of the most popular resorts for winter recreation

Thermal resorts of the Tyumen region are among the top most popular resorts for winter recreation. This was reported by the national tour operator Alean.

“Thermal resorts of the Tyumen region close the top five [самых востребованных курортов для зимнего отдыха]. Two percent of tourists showed interest in vacationing in the region,” RIA Novosti journalists reported the words of the tour operator.

Minvody took the lead, followed by Kislovodsk, Pyatigorsk, and Essentuki in second place. These resorts are chosen by 47 percent of tourists who booked holidays during the cold season. A quarter of applications come from those wishing to spend a winter vacation at resorts in the Krasnodar Territory. Holidays in Belarus are chosen by five percent of the company’s clients. Three percent of vacationers are interested in the Moscow region.

Earlier, the governor of the Tyumen region, Alexander Moor, spoke about vacation spots in the region. He advised tourists to visit Tobolsk and the famous thermal springs. The governor also noted that tourists from Moscow and St. Petersburg began to come to Tobolsk more often.
