
In the new season, the Tyumen Philharmonic Orchestra will play in the Moscow concert halls “Zaryadye” and named after P.I. Tchaikovsky. This was reported by the information center of the regional government.
“The group will perform at the gala concert of the International Music Festival dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Elena Gnesina in the Moscow Zaryadye Concert Hall. Also in the new season, the Tyumen Philharmonic Orchestra is scheduled to perform with famous soloists, including in the concert hall. P.I. Tchaikovsky in Moscow,” the information center wrote in the telegram channel.
At the gala concert on May 31, 2024, the orchestra will play two operas: “Eugene Onegin” and “Ruslan and Lyudmila.” Parts in the works will be performed by famous artists. Several more concerts and projects were planned to celebrate the 220th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Glinka, the information center added.
Earlier, the press service of the Tyumen Concert and Theater Association reported that the 65th anniversary season of the Philharmonic in the concert hall named after. Yu. Gulyaev opened with a full house. That’s because the event sold out all 1,112 seats. The press service also added that soloists Andrei Beletsky, Lada Merkulyeva and Stanislav Mostovoy performed at the event.
