The traffic pattern on the “highway of death” from Tyumen to Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug will be temporarily changed

On the 372 km of the P-404 highway Tyumen – Tobolsk – Khanty-Mansiysk, due to special exercises of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, reverse traffic will be temporarily organized. This was reported by the official telegram channel of the Federal Public Institution “Uralupravtodor”. Due to the large number of accidents with fatalities, this road is often called the “highway of death.”

“On November 15, on the P-404 highway Tyumen – Tobolsk – Khanty-Mansiysk, at km 372 (Uvat district), tactical and special exercises of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will be held. In connection with this, reverse traffic will be organized from 10.00 to 13.00,” the Uralupravtodor statement states.

Earlier, the agency wrote that traffic on the P-404 Tyumen – Tobolsk – Khanty-Mansiysk highway was temporarily limited. The reason for this was difficult weather conditions.
