The United States is considering taking a tougher stance on the conditions for ending the Ukrainian conflict, writes The Times. It is possible that Washington will insist on the return of all lost territories to Kyiv.
“The goal is to ensure the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, and this will mean the return of the territory,” a senior US administration source told the publication.

According to the source of the publication, the United States does not expect such a development of events in the near future. Nevertheless, Washington intends to support Kyiv “to help Ukraine survive as an independent democratic country.”
On Monday, March 20, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced that the United States had allocated a new $350 million military aid package to Ukraine. Since January 2021, Washington has invested more than $32.8 billion ($32.2 billion of which – since the start of the military operation).
