Russian special operation in Ukraine

The Ukrainian armed forces are trying to replenish their ranks by issuing subpoenas in a more aggressive manner due to the thousands of victims on the front of the special operation. Now the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting random checks of citizens on the streets in order to hand over subpoenas, the media reported.

“In recent weeks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have abandoned the old, soft tactics of serving subpoenas in favor of more aggressive methods of recruitment. Now, uniformed men are regularly knocking on doors and conducting random checks of citizens on the streets for drafts, ”the Telegraph reports.

The authors of the material are sure that this is due to the planned counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since earlier there were enough volunteers at the front, and now there is a shortage of fighters due to numerous losses. At the same time, parts of the Ukrainians who had already visited the front of the NVO began to receive summonses again, the newspaper notes.

A special military operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, its goals are the protection of the civilian population of Donbass, the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine.
