Denis Kapustin, suspected of attacking the Bryansk region, is included in the list of terrorists and extremists by Rosfinmonitoring. Relevant information is published on the department’s website.
As Parlamentskaya Gazeta wrote, during the terrorist attack by Ukrainian nationalists in the Bryansk region on March 2, two people were killed and two were injured, one of them is 10-year-old Fedor. Having been injured, he did not lose his head and saved two girls who were traveling with him to school that day. The boy was operated on – a bullet was removed from his body. The child has now been discharged from the hospital.
“The list of terrorists and extremists (included): <...> Kapustin Denis Evgenievich, born on 03/06/1984, Moscow,” is indicated in the corresponding section of the department’s website.
Kapustin is one of the leaders of the so-called Russian Volunteer Corps. According to the FSB, cited by RIA Novosti, he is participating in hostilities on the side of Ukraine. Last summer, a man organized an attempt to blow up a fuel and energy facility in the Volgograd region, and this year, an attack on the Bryansk region and a thwarted attempt on the life of the founder of the Tsargrad TV channel, Konstantin Malofeev.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the attack of saboteurs on the Bryansk region a terrorist act. The head of state drew attention to the fact that the attackers opened fire on the car, although they saw that there were children in it.
