The Supreme Court of Russia liquidated the “Party of People’s Freedom” at the suit of the Ministry of Justice

At a meeting of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, the “Party of People’s Freedom” was liquidated. The corresponding claim of the Ministry of Justice of Russia was satisfied.

The department pointed out that, according to Russian law, the party must have branches in more than 50% of the regions of the country. However, the political association has only 40. The claim of the Ministry of Justice for its liquidation was satisfied, reports TASS.

Earlier, a court in St. Petersburg liquidated the Sfera fund (recognized as a foreign agent in Russia). The appeal was sent by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Justice for the Northern capital.
