A resident of the Pritobolny district (Kurgan region) went to court to recognize the fact that his stepson, who died in the Northern Military District, was dependent on him. This was necessary so that the man could receive a pension for the deceased, the district court said.
“A civil case has been considered on the application of F. to establish the fact that V. is dependent on him <...> The fact that the deceased is dependent on him is necessary for issuing a pension,” the court informed. The man came to court with his wife, who is the mother of the deceased.
The couple reported that their son was killed during the hostilities. The man was not a father to his son, but he took part in his upbringing from the age of 11. The mother of the deceased Zauralian confirmed that the son called his stepfather father, he took care and provided for the child.
The court took into account the testimonies of the witnesses and studied the materials of the case. It was decided to satisfy the applicant’s requirements.
Earlier, URA.RU reported that Kurgan announced support for the families of military personnel stationed in the NVO. Kurgan deputy of the State Duma Alexander Iltyakov listed the assistance received by Kurgan families whose husbands and sons are in the service.
