The State Duma will consider a law on a phased increase in the draft age after June 11

The State Duma will consider a bill to raise the draft age after June 11. This was announced by the head of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andrey Kartapolov.

The bill was submitted to the State Duma and provides for a gradual increase in the draft age to 21 years. It is planned that the transition period will last until 2026.

“After the regional week,” said Kartapolov.

According to the work plans of the State Duma, a regional week will soon come. It will last from 5 to 11 June.

The government commission has already supported this bill, according to which men from 21 to 30 years old will be called up for military service.
