The State Duma proposed checking Chubais’s work on the withdrawal of capital from the Russian Federation

The State Duma (SD) proposes to check the work of Anatoly Chubais at RAO UES of Russia and for the possible withdrawal of capital from the country. State Duma deputy Sultan Khamzaev came up with a similar initiative and will send inquiries to the FSB of the Russian Federation and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. “I believe that in addition to checking Rusnano, it is necessary to carefully check its work at RAO UES of Russia, the possible withdrawal of capital from Russia by Chubais and his relatives. I will send relevant requests to the Russian FSB and the Russian Investigative Committee,” the parliamentarian told the publication.

In recent years, Chubais has become a political allergen for society, Khamzaev is sure. A year ago, Chubais left the country and is now delivering humanitarian aid, publicly showing his loyalty to Israel in the war. “In my understanding, the behavior of an ex-official of this rank is high treason,” says Khamzaev.

Earlier, the State Duma decided to check the ex-Chubais corporation. In particular, the Russian government was asked to provide information on the financial results of the state corporation Rusnano.
