The State Duma approved the draft federal budget for 2024

The State Duma of the Russian Federation, in the third and final reading, adopted the law on the federal budget for 2024 and the planning period 2025–2026. This is reported on website GD.

According to Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin, when forming the budget of our country, the need to fulfill social obligations to the population, as well as solving problems outlined by Russian President Vladimir Putin, was taken into account.

As Life has already said, the draft federal budget for the coming years was drawn up taking into account budgetary principles that determine a safe level of spending. According to the document, in 2024 revenues will amount to 35.065 trillion rubles, after which – 34.382 and 35.587 trillion rubles. Expenses next year are expected to amount to 36.66 trillion, and after that they will be at the level of 34.382 and 35.587 trillion rubles. The head of state noted that there is a certain shrinking of individual budget items, but called it large, reliable and balanced.
