Konovalov, Development Director of the 21st Century Technology Assistance Fund: both the Russian Federation and Ukraine will suffer from a strike on a nuclear power plant
Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant was shelled for the second time in a day. The Ukrainian side did not achieve serious defeats. However, Kyiv does not abandon attempts to strike at concrete storage facilities where thousands of tons of radioactive waste are stored. Ivan Konovalov, Development Director of the Fund for the Promotion of Technologies of the 21st Century, is sure that this is how Ukraine wants to once again attract public attention. However, if international specialists really come to the nuclear power plant, the Ukrainian side will be the losers.
Further — direct speech of the interlocutor “360».
Ukraine is trying to attract the attention of the West
Obviously, the actions of the Ukrainian side are of a narrowly military-political nature. The main task of the Kyiv regime now is to create a situation in which the international community will pay attention and react. At the same time, Kyiv will in no case allow inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to come to the nuclear power plant. And, of course, no one will be there. And these inspectors will continue to broadcast – from Europe or from some other place.
This situation is quite beneficial to Kyiv. The Ukrainian authorities can play it for a long time. After all, what is the West obsessed with? On the position that any shelling is the fault of the Russian side. And to prove otherwise is simply useless. After all, the West believes that we ourselves are shelling Donetsk – ourselves
In this situation, if some international experts, IAEA specialists, are allowed to the Zaporozhye NPP, that’s it, the situation will be revealed, and Kyiv will turn out, forgive me, with a bare ass.

The consequences of a strike on a nuclear power plant will be felt by both the Russian Federation and Ukraine
The Ukrainian Armed Forces aim at radioactive waste, but first of all they still fire in order to interrupt the chains of electricity. Their task is to ensure that the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, which is the most powerful in Europe, does not work in the interests of Melitopol, Kherson, Donbass and so on, that is, does not work in the interests of the liberated territories. Although now it works for all sides, including the Ukrainian one, which is under the occupation of the Kyiv regime.
For the sake of this, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not afraid to arrange a powerful environmental catastrophe – just to prevent the station from working in the interests of Donbass, the liberated territories
All of these stations were built to withstand the impact of a nuclear war. In this situation, APUs are not targeting reactors and so on, they are targeting energy supply chains, dry storage where waste is located. Here is their task. This, of course, is a rather unsafe situation, but it should be noted that our air defense and missile defense systems are working very well. Moreover, the protection of the Zaporizhzhya NPP is now being strengthened.
But if the nuclear power plant really blows up, it will be a very large zone of infection. It is very difficult to even guess which one. This will definitely affect the whole of Ukraine, as well as a significant territory of the Russian Federation. I think that such a scenario will not be realized, no matter how hard the Ukrainian side tries, because we are building quite a serious defense against their provocations.
