The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia will not take part in the meeting within the CIS in Moscow

Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan will not take part in the meeting with colleagues from the CIS countries planned in Moscow tomorrow, November 8. This was reported by “Armenpress” Press Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Tatevik Petrosyan. The reasons for Mr. Grigoryan’s decision are unknown.

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan did not participate in the summit of CIS leaders, which was held on October 13 in Bishkek. That same month, Mr. Pashinyan expressed dissatisfaction with the way the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and Russia are fulfilling their allied obligations towards Armenia. The Armenian prime minister blamed the inaction of Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh against the backdrop of Azerbaijan establishing full control over Karabakh by Azerbaijan.

Details are in the Kommersant article “Mountaineers and Warnings.”
