HR-manager Savina: Russians are waiting for 7 non-working days for the May holidays
Residents of Russia will rest seven additional days in May. At the same time, you should not expect a reduction in working hours before the holidays. This was announced by the director of personnel and organizational development of the service Rabota.ru Yulia Sanina in a comment RIA News”.
“For the May holidays, we are waiting for seven non-working days – from April 29 to May 1 and from May 6 to 9,” Sanina said.
According to her, the Russian government in 2023 set three days on which the working day before the holidays is reduced by one hour: February 22, March 7, and November 3.
“There will be no officially shortened days before May,” she clarified.
The expert noted that companies can shorten the working day as they wish, although working days before the start of the May holidays on April 28 and before Victory Day on May 5 will be normal. She explained that if an employee has a 40-hour work week, then on pre-holiday Fridays he will work eight hours.
