The Russian military thwarted the breakthrough of the sabotage and assault group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The sabotage and assault group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine failed an attempt to break through the front line in the Alexander-Kalinovsky direction. The artillerymen and motorized riflemen of the Russian Southern group prevented them from doing this. This was told by the head of the press center of the “South” group Vadim Astafiev.

“Motorized rifle and artillery units of the group thwarted an attempt to break through the front line of the Ukrainian sabotage and assault group in the Alexander-Kalinovsky direction,” leads his words to RIA Novosti.

The pilots of the group carried out rocket and bomb attacks on the temporary deployment point of one of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Lisichansk direction, as well as on the accumulation of equipment, manpower and ammunition depots in the area of ​​​​Toretsk and Avdiivka, he added.

Earlier it was reported that the aviation and artillery of the “Center” group of forces repelled the attacks of Ukrainian troops who were trying to regain their lost positions in the Torsky sector in the DPR and in the Serebryansky forestry area in the LPR.
